ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Provide support to the purchasing team on implementation of automated systems and processes allowing both operational and strategic value

·         Ensure supply protection and continuity of demand and supply within and outside of the operational teams

·         Identify and implement purchasing process improvements to support ISMS/TISAX, such as supplier identification, rating, and other

·         Supports the implementation of all MORE related design activities within the region with the aim of roll-out regional and subject-specific process and system templates

·         Gives input to the (Global) Process Owners of their respective Domain regarding deviation from standard processes and ensures completeness of regional process

·         Responsible for training of the local process specialist

·         Support training the “next” regional deployment team according to training Cascade (all material, etc. will be provided)

·         Support testing activities incl. test preparation together with the local process specialist

·         Supports Local Process Specialist on Data Cleansing tasks

·         Support Data Migration

·         Supports the Ariba related design and implementation activities for NPM and CapEx within the “Americas” as required

·         Be a change-agent to pursue economies-of-scale in the most efficient manner

·         Manage day-to-day operational requirements and future strategic alignment.

·         Travel to MAHLE locations for in-person team interaction and training as required

·         Problem solver with solution-oriented approach

·         Support Buyers during category strategy development

·         Extensive process experience and cross-functional impacts.

 

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

·         Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field from an accredited four-year college or university preferred, or equivalent related experience

·         Strong knowledge of ERP systems with special focus on SAP/SAP S4 Hana and Ariba implementation preferred

·         Ability to identify and solve problems, to work within deadlines with a high attention to detail, and to work independently in a fast paced, dynamic environment

·         Strong business acumen and the ability to influence and develop strong working relationships with colleagues, senior level management and/or executives, vendors, suppliers, etc.

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation delivery

·         Must have broad understanding of foreign trade/customs principles

·         Advanced computer skills, especially in MS Office
