Full Stack Developer

Full-stack developers are involved with front-end and back-end tasks. They may be responsible for both aspects of website programming and design. Their work can involve developing design plans for the site and how information will be accessed, as well as how the site looks and functions for users. Some full-stack developers may also work on software development or may be involved with developing computer program or site apps.

Required Education
While it may be possible to pursue some employment opportunities as a full-stack developer without a bachelor’s degree, most employers seek applicants who have completed studies in computer science, engineering or a comparable field. Since full stack developers need a high level of programming skills employers may require knowledge of a number of programming platforms and languages, such as Java, C+ and JavaScript. It’s also common for employers to seek applicants who have experience with Agile methodology. Certification in Agile isn’t required, but may be an asset with those employers.

Requirements
●    Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role

●    Experience developing desktop and mobile applications

●    Familiarity with common stacks

●    Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. C#, Java, Python) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Node.js)
