SUMMARY

The Network Security Implementation Specialist will play an important role in ensuring smooth day to day operations of the CLIENT enterprise network environment.  Responsibilities will include advanced level support for network security related activities in all global regions in a global team. Focusing primary on network security environment. These activities include the support of Configuration, Managing, Operation and Monitoring of security infrastructure devices (Firewalls, VPN, DMZ, Internet), and other IT infrastructure systems. This position will have a strong focus on the operation, coordination and administration of network security infrastructure with global network security team members. Participation in projects and support in the introduction of new solutions and technologies are also part of the task. In this role, the Network Security Implementation Specialist will work with other CLIENT IT Team members, vendors and business members to operate and develop the CLIENT network security systems, strategies and processes.
Therefore, the focus is on a senior network security specialist.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

·       Provides top level support for other IT Team Members.

·       Supports the global network security team, operate and administrate security networks at international CLIENT sites.

·       Communicates frequently with International peers providing direction and standards for CLIENT’s Infrastructure.

·       Remain abreast of changes in user and system software and hardware requirements.
Maintain the lifecycle of network security devices.

·       Manage security infrastructure related to firewall, WAF, VPN, DMZ, Internet access and proxy infrastructure,

·       Diagnosis and problem solving regarding the network

·       Install, configure and support multiple network security components utilizing Cisco and Fortinet technology in locations according CLIENT geographical footprint.

·       Create and maintain procedures related to Security and Network Activities

·       Interact with international network and security team to ensure that operations are coordinated, supported and maintained.

·       Collaboration and managing with local teams for physical onsite support as well for IMACD of local systems.

·       Collaboration and assumption of responsibility in projects for the development of new standards, tests and the introduction of new technologies in international teams.

·       Work closely with the IT Security team to ensure compliance with CLIENT IT Security policy.

·       Ability to frequent travel.

QUALIFICATIONS

·       Min. 5 years of experience with security infrastructure, Firewalls and CISCO network solutions

·       Practice knowledge of configuration and management of Fortinet FW´s, Forti Web, Fortianalyzer, Cisco FW´s (ASA, Firepower), Cisco ISE and VPN RAS (AnyConnect), VPN L2L, Cisco FMC management tool,

·       Practice knowledge of Web Application Firewalls

·       Practice knowledge of Proxy systems, Zscaler experience will be an asset

·       Good knowledge for networks protocols TCP/IP and network services

·       Knowledge of network security concepts (radius, TACACS, 802.1x, DMZ)

·       Knowledge of network routing protocols as OSPF, BGP

·       Knowledge in DHCP, DNS, IPAM

·       Certificate management

·       Ability to physically install IT security systems and other IT systems in the data center and put them into operation

·       Automation skills (ansible, python) will be an asset

·       Basic Linux skill will be an asset

·       Team player but also good time – and self-management

·       Ability to push things through in a constructive manner

·       Good communication skills, both verbal and written

·       Ability to travel abroad on occasion

·       ITIL principles

·       Managing lifecycle process of network security systems

·       BMC Remedy and project management experience is beneficial

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Fifth year college or university program certificate; and/or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

CERTIFICATIONS

Cisco, Fortinet and Infrastructure certification would be preferred

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to speak, read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations fluent in English language.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.  Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to push things through in a constructive manner

OVERTIME(should be align to region specific)

Employees must be able to work additional hours at the end of the shift, additional days during the payroll week which can and will be in excess of forty (40) hours per payroll week.
