Manager Engineering for Refrigeration Industry

Bachelor´s Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Engineering Management, IMA, IME.

Master´s degree is preferred.

Fluent English

Valid passport and the ability to travel back and forth between Mexico and USA.

At least 10 years of related engineering experience is required.

At least 3 years of supervisory experience is required.

This is a plant start, having experience starting from cero a new department is a plus.

Lean Manufacturing.

Experienced in the use of an ERP system such as Oracle/JD Edwards, Epicor, SAP or similar.

 

The Engineering manager plans, directs and coordinates the activities of the engineering, maintenance, and tooling departments to facilitate efficient manufacturing operations. This includes creating, developing, implementing, and maintaining effective manufacturing systems by reducing costs while maintaining standards operations and ensuring the delivery of quality products.

Duties

Asseses cost effectiveness and feasibility of manufacturing processes, makes and implements recommendations to reduce costs and improve efficiency.

Conducts or assits with performance and failure análisis of defective products or materials, identifies, recommends, or executes corrective actions.

Provides quality engineering support for in-progress and final acceptance projects.

Collaborates with clients, customers and other stakeholders to identify and resolve problems with delivered products.

Excellent managerial and supervisory skills.
